Artist's Notes: Another sketch I did while drawing with a friend, this time with more shading. One of the reasons I like drawing extinct creatures from their skeletons, is that you notice subtleties of their anatomy that you wouldn't otherwise. Ceratosaurus has always been one of my favorite theropods but not one that I draw very often, so until recently I did not notice how low to the ground it was built or how thick its tail was when compared to other carnivorous dinosaurs, maybe I'll better illustrate this in a more serious drawing later on.
