my current desktop, blink & nocturne from the x-men book, 'exiles.' a most excellent comic, sort of a 'what if...' meets 'quantum leap' sort of thing. blink is a refugee from the 'age of apocalypse' reality, and nocturne is the daughter of nightcrawler & scarlet witch from another dimension. they both kick ass!art by scottie young

someday you'll have to check out the 'age of apocalypse' issues, there's all kinds of icky stuff going on there. rogue is married to magneto, storm is hooked up with quicksilver, nightcrawler teleports a guy's head off... weird, disturbing stuff. i luv's it!
(& i think the nightcrawler/scarlet witch thing is kinda cute, though i don't know which dimension that went down in...

i think blink was the most popular AoA character, 'exiles' might have been part of an excuse to bring her back again...AoA sabretooth is in the book sometimes too. very cool!

yeah it was a bummer they got rid of Blink in the iguess you could call it standard reality durring the early formation of Gen.neXt. , and the phalanx ordeal she saved the rest of the members being held captive.

as i recall, joe madureira helped create her just to die in that storyline, but brought her back in AoA because he was tired of people buggin' to see more of her
