Long time since I uploaded anything. Well here's something new! I made this for my church. It will be hanged outside on a 2 x 2 meter canvas. Cool huh!Idea:
I wanted to show that Jesus isn't dead but risen again so thats why I made the loose ropes... The dove above represents the Holy Spirit that could come when Jesus went to rise up to heaven.

Fine work! And hammers home the truth that Good Friday was not the end, but the beginning all things being made new! And also serves to show that when our mortal flesh dies, we are instead truly set free!

I thought of this just a moment ago, in regards to the ropes. Yes, Christ has risen, proving that He is the messiah, but also, the ropes are loose/broken as you've drawn them. When the ropes holding a ship to a dock are loose or broken, the ship is set free, just as we're set free from the bondage of sin. ^_^
