"Maybe we should have allowed him to stay in our pride", one lioness said to the pride. "He wasn`t maybe that kind, but much stronger than the little boy Zira came up with.""We don`t need a strong, lazy lion", Zira replied. "We are strong by ourselves."
"And why you allowed this Taka to stay with us then? Wasn`t it your idea that a male lion would be useful to defend our pride? Now you see what we get. By the first trouible he ran away and now we are alone again."
Zira rolled with her eyes. "You have no idea", she said. "We don`t need a fighter, but someone royal lions would listen to. They have the lands we needed to survive, but the most kings doesn`t listen to ordinary rogues who lives in the dust, especially not to females! But Taka came from the Pridelands, one of the biggest kingdoms...Maybe to him they would at least listen so we wouldn`t need to hide ourselves anylonger. "

I have one question, Savu...
Why do you make Zira's eyeshadow grey? In movie ([link] ) and in your first comics - here: [link] - they were clearly dark brown. Just asking, no offence
It just bothers me a bit, because when compared to oryginal Zira, grey doesn't fit her.

clearly dark brown^^ well even there I use grey, but because of the shading it turns more into dark,grey/brown from time to time, but I never have used any other ton of color like grey for her eyes -> [link]
and it also changes in the movie from time to time (also because of the shading) -> [link] , [link] There are her eye shades grey not brown.

I would like to know were zira got her scar and is this lioness friends to her or her sisters...?
And i don`t want to be rude my friend but it`s starting to be annyoing that scar and zira just like power and never did love each other is annyoing to see it over and over again... Don`t get me wrong i like your art! But it`s annyoing to see things over and over again with taka and zira`s couplet. This time i prefer too see this two love each other.

if it was to protect something important to me.
The point is they said he ran away at the 1st sign of trouble which is exactly what he did. If you've read Savu's previous comics you would see that his father tried to take on stronger opponents than himself when he was younger even though he had little to no chance of winning. Even though the odds were against him, he stood up for what was right. Something Scar could/would never do because he only cares for himself.
