Taka stopped walking and looked irritated.
"Every day?", he asked.
"Every day", she answerd with a smile. "Every lioness wants to wait for her prince who picks her up."
Zira sat down herself and looked after Taka. She wished she could go with him now but she knew she had to wait. She only hoped that Taka would keep his promise. It was not for her pride, but she wanted to be with him and as a rogue she would never have any chance now to ask for the paw of a royal and Taka would never be allowed to take her - a rogue - as his mate. But when he will be king, he can make his own laws....She only needed to wait.
