But the peaceful time was not for long. One day while Zira and her lioness were hunting, a rogue lion arrived, who made a claim to the land. First Taka tried to defend his position but it was hopeless. The rouge lion was older and stronger than the young lion.With only one strike he brought Taka down. Taka felt a terrible pain in his face. His offender had hit his left eye with one of his claws. In panic Taka ran away before the rouge could hurt him more serious.
