This suit looks amazing! I am going to try and make it but the files wouldnt open on my adobe and ive re-installed adobe. Is there a way you could send the file to my email so i can save it that way and see if downloads? that the only way i havent tried and they say it might work that way. If you could i would apreciate it very much.Β

Hey,

First of all l, great job on the helmet. I've been busy with it for over 3 days now. Its only working, building and sleeping.

But here's my question: i also repasted it on ticker paper. I know now that it was too soft so now i want to glassfiber it only i need te helmet to stay in shape because glassfiber dries very fast. How can i get it to stay in shape?

And what do i do with the gaps in the mask. I know that you madr those gays so the mask would get in shape perfectly. But when i fiber glass it, what do i so with the gaps?

Thanks a million, a big fan from Holland

Sorry, i'm not the right person to answer that question, i don't like/use/promote fiber glass on my builds. But i know there are so many forums out there which may help.

im interested in the scale size? how will i know the helmet will fit?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScannerJOE In reply to enchantedfueler [2013-04-27 12:10:52 +0000 UTC]

You can't know for sure since i don't have an "inside test", but i can tell you, i'm a big head guy, so it works for most people.

To get a better idea or if you need to scale it down, use pepakura designer to open the PDO file the outside dimmensions appear right away in the status bar.

No, you'll need many letter size sheets, sn i recommend you to use heavy opaline paper.

G'day mate. Great job on the suit, especially the helmet. Do you have assembly instructions to go with each piece? I have printed the helmet off onto 200gsm card. I need some instructions for gluing the helmet together.

Thanks!

Very nice. I'm building a Mark VII now, then the Iron Patriot shortly after that. I may start reverting afterwards, and doing earlier versions, so this will work out great! Starting from Mark VI and working my way backward I wanna have a Hall of Armor like the screenshot of Iron Man 3. Gonna take some years and dollars, but if other people have some earlier version Pep files, I can probably pull it off. XD

ScannerJOE In reply to jasonhudson88 [2012-06-11 06:01:57 +0000 UTC]

I share through mediafire (not 4shared) and there you don't need to pay for anything, it is cool you have a paid license of pepakura designer, though the free pepakura viewer could work too.

I know the mediafire's page can be a little bit tricky, but believe me, the files are there, just locate the zip file's link and click on it to download it.

I'm glad you like the model. Enjoy it.

I have downloaded your files, but it seems like I need a program called Pepakura to view the pdo files. I have the setup file for Pepakura but it won\t install. What should i do?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScannerJOE In reply to Sherlockian [2012-06-05 18:46:31 +0000 UTC]

Well, you definetly need to get pepakura working to open the files, you may try pepakura designer if the viewer is not working, my files are unlocked so you'll have no trouble using the designer. I know that pepakura has no problems to run in Windows XP/Vista/7 for viewing/printing.

ScannerJOE In reply to b0bman [2012-04-17 19:48:20 +0000 UTC]

Sorry those are made out of foam (EVA) pasted to a real glove then painted with water diluted white glue then spray paint. I know that there are a lot of efforts like this one i have no doubt you'll find one.
