Description Idea is mine, though based on the Tournament of Mortals.

Um... hmm... {Insert catchy/clever lead in here}

Rogue: Born a mutant, Rogue possess the ability to steal the powers, abilities, and memories of anyone she comes into physical contact with. Over the years she has defended a world that hates her, even as her own powers take a toll on her psyche.

Aang: Born into the role of the Avatar, a role of great responsibility, Aang is the only human capable of wielding all four elements: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. With the great power, he must bring balance to the world. Through strenuous training, he was able to learn the art of Energy Bending, and defeat the evil Fire Lord Ozai.

Now the mutant and the Bender will come face to face; but only one will walk away. Can Rogue best a boy will all the elements of nature on his side? Can Aang hope to beat a girl who he can't even physically touch? There's only one way to find out, on the quest to discover--

THE DEADLIEST MORTAL!

Finally, in a classic 'To the Victor Goes the Spoils', after you pick a winner, pick something for them to take from the loser. It may be something as simple as a piece of equipment, to something as complex as a power. I'm just curious what you all would say.

(Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these two combatants were created / are owned by people far more creative / wealthier then me. I have made this, not for profit, but in the hopes of encouraging spirited discussion among fans. Please support the combatants official series. Thank you, that is all).

I have to say Rogue wins. With her superhuman strength, speed, and durability, she can survive long enough to get close to Aang and then touch him, which will give her the Avatar's superpowers- only for a few minutes, but with her greater willingness to fight, plus the superpowers she ALREADY HAS, that'll be enough for her to tear poor Aang limb-from-limb.

aang would have the advantage as he has a greater aray of ranged attacks but rogue has super strength flight and parasitic skin she'll be able to bust through his strongest elemental attacks and when she gets those hands on him. thats it we have a new avatar

While I pretty sure that Rogue can not use her powers to absorb Aang's bending(since I do not think Benders are avatar version of mutants). Depending on whose powers she has at the time. Rogue could even take on Aang in his Β mastered Avatar State. However that being said I think Rogue could win more then she would lose

Again, everything depends on physical contact. If Aang plays it smart and limits to long-ranged attacks, he wins.

Rogue.Β  Ang may be the most powerful being on his planet, but he's not all that impressive in comparison to the Marvel Universe.Β  His closest analogue there would be Crystal (someone else who can control all four elements) who I gauge as more powerful than him.Β  I don't think Crystal can take Rogue, so I figure Ang's chances are even less.

As for what Rogue would take...

ROGUE: Yeeeeeee-HAW! Ah'm gonna fly the hell outta this kite!

Rogue. If Anna can absorb Diana, she can absorb Aang. Plus, she has a battlefield sixth sense. Not unlike Peter's spider-sense.

I say rogue, She has the flight that in a way over powers Aang's flying with his kite, she has superhuman endurance that can counter Aangs basic bending powers, wind will not hurt her, water will not hurt he, his fire is to weak to burn her and rocks unless he drops a mountain on her head and she does not move, will not hurt her.

I completely agree with you. Rogue would win, Ms. Marvel was far stronger than Rogue but all she has to do is touch you lightly once to get the edge. After that, you become weak and unable to defend yourself to another grabbing which would put Aang in a coma. Rouge has been slammed pretty hard into walls, floors, and other things only to get back up. She could also just rip out a chunk of earth and use it as a shield to get close or she could just fly quickly to him since she's a fast flyer. Rogue also has more experience with dealing with opponents with diverse power, Aang has only faced other benders, not a chick who could pick up and slam a giant robot.

Small problem for Rogue is that airbenders are really agile and good at dodging, so she may not be able to touch Aang to take his powers. So, I'm going with Aang.

I think Rogue can only use one ability at a time, whereas Aang can manipulate all 4 elements at once...

Aang has better Long Range, Energy Bending, Avatar State, and Defense. He also takes the Energy Potential X-Factor

Rogue has better Pre-Battle, Mid Range, and Close Range, as well as her Power Absorption. She takes all X-Factor edges save Energy Potential.

Conclusion: Rogue Wins

No idea. Though in Avatar State Aang's got the odds in his favor.

Rogue would win because she could touch him and he would go down faster than Quick Silver, and Rogue may become a crippled mess after because of all the memories, but Jean or the Professor could put a mental block of all of Aang's memories. Plus Aang is kinda a Pacifist. He only fights when he needs to, but in the end, the both wouldn't fight each other because they both don't wanna hurt anyone.

rogue. she can fly, so airbending won't affect her that much, and she can take him down with a zap. besides, he can't kill anyone.

I Vote for Rogue, after a tough battle where Aang pushes her around with all of his elemental powers. She manages to get close and she takes his elemental power by absorbing it.

when she steals his powers, more than likely, she'd be able to tap into that power as ell. She's a leech of sorts; she'd be able to handle it. As for his memories, as someone else said, a mental block is all she'd need to keep herself from going insane like she did when Ms Marvel took over.
