Description CIS: Perhaps the largest droid army ever assembled, the army of the CIS (which stands for Confederacy of Independent Systems) outnumbered the clone soldiers of the Republic 100 to 1. The CIS put fear in the hearts of countless citizens of the Republic, as few could stand before it for long before being mowed down by blaster fire. Hearts of steel, skin of iron, oil and electricity in their veins, the CIS march every onward.

Orks: Also known as the green-skins; this crude, barbaric and war-loving race is vast in size and simple in it's desires. All any Ork wants to do is fight. And fight. AND FIGHT! Blastin' and Bombin' and Shootin' away as they crump the offa races beneath their mighty boot. Heck, Orks enjoying killing other Orks as much as they do anyone else. Any fight is a good fight in an Orks eyes.

Now the mechanical army shall take on pure Ork-y enthusiasm. Can steel and bolts beat organic green muscle? How will the Orks contend with CIS tactic bots? How will the tactic bots contend with Ork creativity? Oil and blood are gonna start running soon, so before the battle kicks answer me this...

WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!

*(Because I know this will pop up if I say nothing: No space battles. Planet-side only.)

(Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these two combatants were created / are owned by people far more creative / wealthier then me. I have made this, not for profit, but in the hopes of encouraging spirited discussion among fans. Please support the combatants official series. Thank you, that is all).

EU CIS could pull it off. But going by what is canon, the CIS would get obliterated.

The Orks are a nasty virus, one that is hard to remove entirely. They are like the Flood in a sense, if one Ork gets on your planet, the Orks will never fully be removed from said planet. Not to mention they are difficult to kill as they can be sewn back together even if they're torn to pieces.
Unless the CIS start glassing every planet they find Orks on, then they'll never truly win.

Sorry to say this. But you kinda hit a nerve there.

The EU separatists have legions of lethal battle droids, acolytes, deadly bounty hunters, strong bosses and some semblance of competent leadership. Almost all of which are lacking in the "canon" version.

A handful of Unggoy could kill Grievous now, really, they could. If Gungans can beat him, then plasma grenade throwing, EMP/plasma firing, suicidal Grunts could. Unlike the EU version, that could probably tank a dozen of Covenant Elites Zealots with relative ease. Remind me again how many Jedi were killed by GG in the Clone Wars compared to how much damage/how many defeats he received? Why is this guy a general again?

Out of all the CIS, the most successful members of the "canon" characters were the hired bounty hunters. Other then them, there was Ventress, whom the CIS idiotically tried to bump off. Yes I know it was because Sidious ordered it, but really, he isn't that smart in the "canon" anyways. (Lost a war to the Rebels even though he could have crushed them)

The Droids themselves are probably one of the dumbest mechanical forces ever shown in fiction. I can't think of any battle robots that are more incompetent... With Skinny droids that can't hit anything unless the plot demands it and goof off like the Three Stooges. To "Super" Battle Droids that are only better then the skinny ones because they don't goof off, but yet still can't really hit anything despite having a faster rate of fire. MagnaGuards, whom originally had Jedi blood stains in their cloaks and were a challenge, get cut down with ease by a single Jedi now. Out of all the Droids the only ones that are still badass are the Destroyers, they don't talk, hit their darn targets and actually drive Jedi away or into cover.

So out off all the canon, the only good things the CIS has now are:
A. Bounty Hunters.
B. Destroyers.

That is all they have. You probably can tell due to how long this reply is that I used to be a huge fan of the CIS, now I just pity them and hate what has been done to the once great droid army. One of my biggest pet peeves in fiction is military incompetence, so much potential tossed aside because of plot and in the name of "comedy".

I'm sorry if I came across as rude, I didn't mean to. This subject just ticks me off to no end.

In canon, CIS droids still have their moments and the CIS navy seems to have a decent success rate. Also, what about the Commando Droids?

CyberSamurai270 In reply to Edelstein-Austria [2017-03-21 02:28:25 +0000 UTC]

Name one example of a Separatist victory that was not either marred by some kind of loss, or involved the assistance of an outside force (like a Republic traitor or the Bounty Hunters). Just the CIS forces alone.

The Commandos still fail. They took an outpost, then lost it. After that, I don't remember them ever winning anything. They became just another disposable soldier. Their only real functions were to "look cool" for the fans, and be cut down with ease.

The navy? I remember only two victories it had. The Malevolence won several battles but that was nixed with its quick destruction. And one other "victory" was in "Jedi Crash", which was again nixed by how many droids were lost in trying to take/destroy the enemy ships.

There is the First Battle of Felucia, the Battle of Quell, Grievous' attack on Obi-Wan's fleet, the Battle of Dathomir, the Battle of Ringo Vinda,Β Grievous' attacking Maul's Mandalorian forces/Battle of Zanbar, Grievous' attack on Adi Gallia's cruiser, the Third Battle of Mygeeto, and Battle ofΒ Haruun Kal.

CyberSamurai270 In reply to Edelstein-Austria [2017-03-21 15:07:30 +0000 UTC]

Battle of Felucia - Wow, the droids won and there wasn't any mind scrabbling stupidity on the Droids behalf, nor something to ruin their victory. However I do have to ask, why didn't the Republic use the weapons of the drop-ships to shoot at the droids below when picking up Ahsoka?

The Battle of Quell - I noticed that it takes forever for CIS ships to take down Republic cruisers, not just here but almost every time they fight. How are these guys even winning this fight? This skirmish seems to go against what we see everywhere else whenever these ships fight. Not to mention the "Hundreds of Droids" that were on that ship when it went down kinda ruined the flawless victory.

Grievous' attack on Obi-Wan's fleet - Which could have killed GG right then and there, and would have it were more realistic. But this battle didn't claim him because GG was in the third movie.

The Battle of Dathomir - GG is humiliated again, this time at the hands of Ventress. What a surprise...

The Battle of Ringo Vinda - How does one Clone manage to kill a Jedi when hundreds of Droids firing at the same time can't? Sadly the show doesn't really go into this much, alike to what appears to be all CIS victories, they always seem to skim over it. Unlike when the Republic wins where we have their victory shoved in our faces.

Grievous' attacking Maul's Mandalorian forces/Battle of Zanbar - Where? I can't find this. <=\
Also, I'm kinda talking about times when the CIS beat the Republic.

Grievous' attack on Adi Gallia's cruiser - Why didn't GG kill her? Tsk. Some great Jedi murder he is, one Jedi killed in the entire show. ...And then she escapes. Victory made void. =_=

The Third Battle of Mygeeto - A comic. I'm talking about in the series Star Wars the Clones Wars.

Battle ofΒ Haruun Kal - Again, a comic.

There really are so few victories for the CIS in all 129 episodes?... Why are these guys considered a threat again? Heck, why are they considered the "bad guys"? We're told they're bad, but through season one we aren't given anything to hate about them when it matters the most. Where as with the Republic, it is brought up in season one that they grow slaves to fight for them.

Why is Dooku considered evil though? From my point of view both the Jedi and Sith are terrible. The Sith form an evil empire, the Jedi turn a happy blind eye to mass slavery.

Also, the question why it takes forever for Separatist ships to destroy the Venators during the Battle of Quell is because they CIS were there weakest warships there, Munificent-class frigate. Also, there the CIS victory of the attack on Eeth Koth's ship by Grievous.

If this is a typical Ork WAAAGH... Orks win.

If this is a WAAAGH and Ghazghull Mag Uruk Thraka is the Warboss... the Orks win.

If this is a WAAAGH and The Beast is the Warboss... the Orks win so badly that it makes the Droids look like a joke (if they nearly brought down the Imperium of Man, Separatists are nothing in comparison).

CIS have more advanced tech and capable commanders like Dooku and Grievous and while Orks are powerful and resilient, they can't stand against a foe with good toys and brains to put them in use. Just remember how the Tau, having MUCH LESS MANPOWER than the Imperium, kicked them away from several worlds.

Killing orks is as useles as trying to kill off time itself.

You can try, but eventually it will get you.

If an ork dies, the body lets off spores wich will spread all over the planet. Eventually they will come again. And again, and so on.

Cis would eventually run out of power to upkeep the droids, they would also eventually run out of parts.

Its like a candle, eventually the candle burns itself out.
