Hi all! I'm not new to dA, but this is my new account specifically for fanart and other things that I'd rather not fill my serious gallery with. If you're interested in checking out my other account, here it is:Otherwise, when I saw the official Fennekin middle evolution today, my mind went straight to this. Absolutely love the official evo, and I would be the happiest pokemon fangirl in the world if Fennekin becomes something like this. What do you guys think of the new starter evos, and what do you want their finals to look like?

Haha neat! Delphox is starting to grow on me, but I was really hoping we'd get something graceful. Can't imagine anything in a full length, stiff looking cloak as graceful haha.

I don't think you understood what I meant but that's alright. The point was, is a body really cumbersome lol. If a ninja frog can use his tongue as a scarf then a phatΒ assedΒ fox can be fast lol

No, I understood, I just didn't address the part where you said it's part of the body because I knew that, and I was more concerned why you started talking about women when I said nothing about that. I don't feel like Delphox is fat, I just think that it wouldn't move well. If the robe is closed at the bottom (which we can't tell if it's closed or open, like some of the beautiful fanart suggests) then its feet are basically tied together. I doubt it's closed, it was just my first thought due to what few images we have of it. Does that make sense? xD

Yes; but the point is I made the reference to women because they wear dresses and can in most cases move without issue.

I just wish Delphox had a staff! It disappoints me that they did away with the twig theme.

I followed your link from Serebii. Dang I was upset at Fennekin becoming bipedal because I had lost hope for its design. (I've hated the last three fire starters middle and last stages.) If it became anything like this it would be my favorite starter. This is truly amazing. Thank you for giving me back my hope.Β

You're very welcome! I feel that even if it's not quite like this, it's going to go down the road of Lucario and become some sort of awesome bipedal canine. I can't see Fennekin getting something crappy - I think that'll go to Chespin if it keeps going with the theme Hariboogu's got going.Β

I basically told myself that I would use Fennekin no matter what it becomes. So I'm really on edge with Fennekin because whatever its final stage design becomes I'll be using it whether I like it or not. I tend to go by appearance first, type second, so its been years since my last fire starter.(Not counting remakes.) I can't personally see Chespin's being that bad if they do it right. That is a big if though.Β

Yeah I know what you mean. I always pick my pokemon based on looks. I mean, I have a level 100 Minccino. That definitely wasn't a choice I made on how strong it is. xD Agreed on Chespin. I really love Tepig's line, so I don't have any bias against Pignite (who everyone compares it to) but... I don't know. Chespin's evo is the king of derp in my opinion. xD I really hope that gets fixed in its final, because I usually love grass starters the most. Ugh. They could all go so many different ways. I'm gonna need GameFreak to start being more predictable haha.

lol I know what you mean my first b/W team was full of 'weak' Pokemon. Well we have the English names now. It looks like Chespin may really become a knight and Fennekin definitely is going the mage/witch/wizard route. I'm still not sure what Froakie is becoming. The trailer really does make them look better with any luck though we won't know the finals till we play.
