And here is a Dug character, while I'm at the Star Wars stuff. He's a captain on a smuggler ship, I'm thinking.

I think the "legs" are too long, or the "arms" too short-I can't decide which.

Dugs get a bad rap for being bad tempered. Well, I'll tell ya, if some three-eyed, goat faced aliens settled on your planet without so much as a "by your leave," and you got in a war, which was then settled by a bunch of other aliens, and they gave the Invaders your planet...

You'd be pretty pissed, too.

If his legs are too long that could just be his build? Non typical? He looks great and he's the first and only dug character I've seen on DA while looking up starwars. You did a good job on his profile. Great work. Mesa gonna fave hims! ^^

XD You're very welcome! I like the dug profile because it reminds me of a horse-like animal(A camel or something). I like horses so that might just be me!

Not just you! I think they look a bit horse-like too. A camel is actualy pretty close, now that I think of it.

That's probably why I found Sebolba so appealing in the first star wars episode. I just liked his profile.

XD I get ya! Poor JarJar! Dug's are really hardy and well...mean! JarJar was going to be pummeled into gungan es cargo if Anakin hadn't stepped in. JarJar doesn't know which way is up or down let alone left or right part of the time.

Scatha-the-Worm In reply to FuzzyBunsOfSteel [2009-01-06 02:40:33 +0000 UTC]

And that's another thing! I dunno why so many people despise Gungans so much. It isn't their fault that they were represented by JarJar! XD

Seriously, though, their design is really a neat one.

at first I wasn't too big on their design in the beginning but over time I actually liked JarJar. Kleef's design in the Force unleashed game I like. He just looks cool. I also liked his bounty-hunter like wardrobe.(I'm into costume design-just call me weird) ^__^ Obviously not all gungans are like JarJar, I mean, he alone was banished from their underwater city. So obviously he was a danger to them and sometimes to himself. Poor JarJar.

Yeah, JarJar is just...a big, extreame clutz. Not his fault, I'm sure, but still. XD

Costume design is fun! I actualy really like looking at the outfits from movies and games.

I haven't gotten Unleashed yet, sadly. I dunno if it would be worth it if I can only get it for the PS2.

Personally I've just recently gotten into star wars and I liked it because of all the different costume designs from the different cultures in its universe. I like Lord of the Rings and Narnia because of the primitive environments and weaponry as well as costumes. I like the fictional medieval era you would read or see in movies.I would really like to cos play in heavy robes or elaborate dresses. That would be sooo much fun. First I was exposed to Lord of the Rings and then everything else came along. The force unleashed, I was informed that the force unleashed, is shorter on the PS2 than on the PS3 because there was so much game data that the PS2 can't handle it, but its still enough to enjoy the game. I was really looking forward to a star wars game where you could be a Jedi and use the force ALL THE TIME. I believe the game speaks for itself in its gameplay. You can obtain cheat codes to unlock new costumes you can play in: Jedi robes, Sith stalker wardrobe, sith robe, you can even be a storm trooper who has a light saber or Ayala Secura, maybe even Han Solo if you wish. You can be enemies that you see in the game to if you find them appealing. That's a feature I was really pleased with. I would get it if I were you, but if you want more then you could get it for the Ps3. Its just the Ps3 is sooo expensive! (Cries) I have no money within that range right now to get one. If you did get one and you got like one game you'd be immediately broke because the silly games cost about 50 bucks a piece or more! I might wait to purchase a system until they come out with one that's cleansed of the bugs out of it for the long term. They'll keep updating the models, naturally.

Lord of the Rings costumes are beautiful. I'd love to make a costume of something from those movies.

My cousin has a PS3 (little shit that he is XD) and I think he has Unleashed. I may just wait until he visits again and play it on his PS3 to get the full experience. The ability to change the costume of the character sounds awesome. I wish more games did that-being able to taylor my char would be fun as all hell.

Yes, Lord of the Rings kicks tail with costume design. I would have to say the elves are my favorite. That and the rangers. I would so be a ranger and or an elf if I was in middle earth. If you do wait to play it, then you save yourself the money! I do agree, every game should have something like that, that and a slow motion button! Sly Cooper has the option for slow motion and its so much fun to play with, but for the cooler games it would just be awesome! All games should have concept art to.

I like the elven costumes, too. Very elegant. I would likely be a Hobbit, though. I like those little shits. XD

Agreed on the concept art, too! The concept art on the Extended Editions of LOTR is just awesome. For games, like the RPGs? That would make me very happy.

Hahaha! Their big hairy feet would suit anybody good for rough terrain. No shoes to worry about wearing out on the go! (Eyes get small) Extended editions?! Ahh! I want them sooo much, but you can only get them online I believe and they cost about 100 dollars as all three movies. I'd pay the money anyways just because though. ^_^

Scatha-the-Worm In reply to FuzzyBunsOfSteel [2009-01-07 05:49:25 +0000 UTC]

I hate the way the hobbit feet look in the movies, though. They don't look furry enough to keep anything warm! T_T

Haha, I got them all as gifts. XD I thought they still sold them at Wal-Mart, though?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyBunsOfSteel In reply to Scatha-the-Worm [2009-01-07 18:41:02 +0000 UTC]

Yes, at walmart but online....at walmart! Yeah, they are hairy to a degree, but supposedly in the shire they don't get snow? But maybe hobbits are just naturally ver hardy and don't require much clothing? I mean in the fellowship of the ring they scaled through the mountains for a time, but I don't know if it was long enough for anyone to become cold-cold.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scatha-the-Worm In reply to FuzzyBunsOfSteel [2009-01-08 03:30:46 +0000 UTC]

The Shire got snow...just not that much at a time. There was that one winter, though...

In the Hobbit the fur is described as being all around the foot, since Bilbo got the hair singed off the back of his feet.

I guess I'm just being picky, but they still could have thrown some more fur on there. They don't even look nice the way they are. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyBunsOfSteel In reply to Scatha-the-Worm [2009-01-08 03:34:32 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, they don't have much fur. Since they don't have "fur" it just looks like hairy people feet which nobody wants to see and cringes at! Sadly, I haven't read the books. I've read an overview of his books though that skims over each chapter. Enough to realize that there was no way peter jackson was going to get every little bit Tolkien had in the movies, I mean, nobody has a budget or attention span that big.

Scatha-the-Worm In reply to FuzzyBunsOfSteel [2009-01-08 03:40:41 +0000 UTC]

XD Yeah, they've got this...sparse curly hair that looks...bad. XP

Yeah, there was really no way to get every thing in. I think he did a good job with them, anyway, though he took a bit too much away from Frodo to make me really happy.

Still a much better job then anyone else would have done, because anyone else would have done just ONE MOVIE, like MGM wanted. DX

I would read the books, but they're just so progressively slow and there are many characters that were cut out of the movie, of course. I would like to read the books, but I was even advised by the book lovers that the movies are better in general since I
I've never read the books.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scatha-the-Worm In reply to FuzzyBunsOfSteel [2009-01-08 23:31:10 +0000 UTC]

Usually as a rule, the books are always better-but in this case, I understand if you can't get into them as much. They are a little slow, expecially after the fast pace of the movies.

Try the Hobbit, though. Fun, well paced little book, that. My favorite, actually.

And it has Smaug, so it wins just for that.

That's cool! Gotta watch out for that big bad draggy! ^___^ I remember in the cartoon, Bilbo finding Gollum's ring and keeping it in his pocket as Gollum screamed and carried on, then engaging Gollum to ask him what he had in his pocket later so that he could leave...I think...

Scatha-the-Worm In reply to FuzzyBunsOfSteel [2009-01-09 06:17:47 +0000 UTC]

Yep, that's pretty much what happens!

They have a riddle-off, and at the end, Bilbo couldn't think of any more, and was about to be eaten. So, he bent the rules a little, and asked "What do I have in my pocket?"

Clever hobbit, he is. Even if he did cheat. XD

They made a documentary on animal planet once about how they found a the remains of a real life dragon(Its wasn't real of course) but they actually proved that if they did exist they would have a particular make-up that allowed them to breath fire. I believe there already is a lizard that lives in the desert that can emit fire from its mouth or something like that-don't take my word for it, but I'm sure I heard about it once so dragons existing with breathing fire sounds plausible.
