Added 9/26/07These are some of the baddies in Drakan. I really like how the Scavanger turned out.

The Grull and Wartoks had some great dialogue they really did. Whenever dealing with them I just liked to stand where they couldn't reach and listen to their dialogue it was funny as heck most of the time. Loved that the Wartok's often seemed like even a simple line was difficult for them to manage.
As for the Trogs? I just found them amusing over all, and Toadfist I actually liked him, he was an arsehole to be sure but he seemed a strong leader. Also the way that Rynn burned him in dialogue was priceless.

I always listened, it is a shame they gave the trogs the same dialogue just in a different voice though.

When I converted Drakan to a D&D game, I had a hell of a time finding existing monsters that could be matched to the drakan ones. Grull and wartoks were easy, Trogs were a blend of Bullywugs and lizardmen, and scavengers were the hardest, basically taking kobolds, removing intelligence, adding reach because of their long arms...
Your version of the Scavenger is awesome, spot on I thought it was actually game concept art

It was a great game, although they didn't get further than Ravenhold. They were about to face the giant ice yeti but then I went away for school so the group disbanded.

Scavenger: Hold still so I can shoot you, you cretin.
Trog: I'll just sit here on this ladder and let you two kill each other. Also, down below. If you shoot another lightning bolt at me, I'll use the Level-3 Magic cheat and fire one back!
Wartok: You guys aren't scary at all. Unless I have low health, then I'll be telling you to stop chasing me.
Grull: Screw you and your ice magic in the tundra. -.-

Ha, Scavangers are easy enough if you can get into a rhythm. Stab in face, they reel in pain, repeat. If you do it right, they can never hit you back!
Trogs...yeah, Trogs are dumb, lol!
Wartoks can suck, but the Fear Spell takes care of them. Now they do the running!

Love this game. I play it often. Love the bosses, lots of character. The Flesh Mage, still creeps me the f-out.

Awesome drawings! ^^ I haven't played the first Drakan game but I've seen it on YouTube, it looks pretty neat. I have the second Drakan game and I loved it up until the point where you face the Flesh Mage, that guy was WAY too creepy for me and I never really wanted to play it again after that. Besides that though it was an awesome game and you draw the monsters from the game so well, I hope you consider making pictures of more of the baddies from the Drakan games, including bosses.

Ah, what a wonderfully fugly bunch....and that Scavenger is indeed awesome-truly a walking Garbage Disposal from Hell(TM). The Grull is a close second for me...you've got a real knack for making orcish boar/bat/ogre-types more interesting than I generally find such critters to be.
One question: are the Trog's Wolverine-claws natural weapons or grafted to its gloves?
