Valdesaurus

Also known as: Val, Barney from Hell

Valdesaurus was the prototype in “roject Guardian”, the project that ultimately spawned Garm. He was dubbed a failure due to his nature-he liked to fight more than was needed. The aim of the project was a Kaiju that defended, not picked fights for fun, and so he was slated to be destroyed and they began work on Garm. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on ones point of view, Valdesaurus broke out of his containment and ran. His escape turned out to be both a hindrance, due to his overly combative nature, and a help for the same reason.

He was made before Garm mostly because of the science team wanting to make a dinosaur based Kaiju that they could control. His bright coloring was a joke, parodying the children’s show Barney-oddly, due to the overly cheerful colors, he seems to be attacked more often than any other Kaiju. This is not a problem for him, as he looks for fights anyway, and a help to humans as he hates to fight in cities because the buildings get in his way. So, even if he doesn’t mean to help, he does in a round-about way by taking a city destroying rumble elsewhere. On the other hand, his love of fighting gets him in trouble, as he tends to pick fights with any Kaiju that he comes across-and loses more often than not. He doesn’t seem to mind, though, he just enjoys a good fight.

Because he enjoys fighting so much, he can always be counted on to help fight off a strong foe, though his tendency to challenge the other Kaiju afterwards annoys them. As his annoying coloration makes him the first target in any battle, he is a good distraction-letting allies get in a shot against a foe before they even notice them there. His odd fighting style often takes his enemies by surprise, but when they learn that he is mostly flash, they usually get the better of him.
