Re-drew my Jester dragon for the Draw this again contest.Not sure it quite went as well as I expected, I think I picked one I loved too much. In my head I can't improve on the original so it will be interesting to see what other people think. Which is best.

The newer one definitely has a lot more detail and color in it, which is what I love most about your work. So I say you improved quite a bit since then.

I think I like the more unrealistic one. lol. I am used to drawing like that and the scales get in the way of other details it seems....to me.

Yeah, I'm thinking - when my hand has recovered - that I may have to use my light box to trace most of the old one and then I can just fix the head and add some scales.

I actually like the previous one most, although i do like the addition of scales on the second one, i dont know, i think it has a lot to do with the pose the first one is making and holding its body

Hmm, you're right. Both are great. I like the scales on the new one. You did a fun job of keeping it similar to the old one with using the stars and the dangly things.

Thank you! I was going to change them but nothing I tried worked so I ended up having to keep them identicle except for the leg which wouldn't fit on the new shape.
