Description The City of Bayside Public Works Solid Waste Division is split among three yards in the city, Mesa Yard in Southeast Bayside, Liberty Yard in Southwest Bayside, and Sand Creek Yard in Northwest Bayside. In addition to the yards, the Solid Waste Division operates the Mount Riverside Landfill outside Bayside, and the Bayside Transfer Facility in Northeast Bayside. 

Rear Load Collection Trucks are used for both residential trash and recycling pickup, with the majority of the trucks being the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 100 of these trucks.

Front Load Collection Trucks are used for commercial trash pickup, as well as residential bulk item pickup on special rountes, and are all the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 75 of these trucks.

Side Load Collection Trucks are used for both residential trash and recycling pickup, and are all the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 75 of these trucks. 

Alley Rear Load Collection Trucks are used for both residential and commercial trash pickup for alleyways in the downtown and uptown areas of Bayside. Can pick up both residential cans and small commercial dumpsters, and are all diesel powered trucks. The city operates 25 of these trucks.

Roll Off Trucks are used for commercial roll off dumpster collection, and are all the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 50 of these trucks.

Grapple Trucks are used for both residential and commercial bulk item collection, and are also used to assist the city in bulk item removal from city owned properties, and are all the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 25 of these trucks.

Sewer Vac Trucks are used to help maintain the sewers within the city in support of the streets maintenance division, and are all the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 25 of these trucks.

Street Sweeper Trucks are used to clean up litter and leafs from the city's streets in support of the streets maintenance division, with the majority of the trucks being the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 50 of these trucks.

Dump Trucks are used for bulk item collection mostly with removing bulk items from city owned properties, as well as in support of the streets maintenance division for snow plow duties, with the majority of the trucks being the newer CNG powered trucks. The city operates 30 of these trucks.

Front End Loaders are used for bulk item clean up around the city, collecting trash at the city transfer station, and snow removal within the city. The city operates 30 of these machines.

Stake Body Flatbeds are used for dumpster and can collection and distribution throughout the city, as well as for general utility vehicles. The larger stake body trucks are mostly the older diesel powered trucks, but are slowly being phased out for the newer CNG powered trucks. The smaller stake body trucks are all diesel powered trucks. The city operates 25 of the larger trucks, and 20 of the smaller trucks.

Light Duty trucks are used as general utility vehicles for various duties around the city, and are all diesel powered trucks. The city operates 100 of these trucks.

Semi Trucks are used to haul semi trailers from the city transfer station to the city dump, as well as for snow removal from the city center. The city operates 20 of these trucks.
