The Deviant Department of Forestry Headquarters is located in Bayaide, East River County. Headquarters is home to the office of the Forestry Chief, the office of the Assistant Forestry Chief, the office of the Chief of Fire Operations, the office of the Chief of Hazard Management, the office of the Chief of Resource Management, the office of the Chief of Management Services, the office of the Director of Legal, Financial, and Legislative Services, the Public Information Office, and the Fire Investigators Office. Headquarters is also home to the Major Wildfire Response Unit Ten Ninety Four, the "Headquarters Hotshots" Crew Six, Headquarters Mobile Command Post Twelve Twenty Two, Utility Twelve Twenty Three, Utility Twelve Twenty Four, Utility Twelve Twenty Five, and Utility Twelve Twenty Six.The offices of the Forestry Chief and Assistant Forestry Chief oversee the entire department, and report to the state government. The office of the Chief of Fire Operations oversees all three frontline divisions for firefighting operations. The office of the Chief of Hazard Management oversees all three divisions for hazard mitigation operations in state parks, as well as on public lands. The office of the Chief of Resource Management oversees the allocation of department resources throughout the state, prepositioning equipment prior to fire season, as well as distributing equipment to local departments within the state. The Chief of Management Services oversees all staffing within the department, as well as the various forestry programs the department sponsors. The office of the Director of Legal, Financial, and Legislative Services oversees all the administrative aspects in the department, reporting to the Assistant Forestry Chief. The Public Information Office is the department's public face, giving vital information to the public via social media as well as public news broadcasts. The Fire Investigations office is dispatched to all wildfires within the state, to assist local departments and the state fire marshal's office to determine causes. The Major Wildfire Response Unit is a tractor trailer with all the equipment needed to set up a large base camp for major fires, and can be deployed nationwide as needed. The "Headquarters Hotshots", otherwise known as Crew Six, is the only Type 1 Interagency Hotshot Crew run by the state.
