My first Photomanipultation. I think I spent a lot of time on it because I had to figure out things and was not satisfied with it. I don't know what I feel about it know. I'm still not completely satisfied. Please help, how could I make it look better?Stock I used:

Hey there! I am coming in from comment tag! My tag line is 'Dark' and this image immediately caught my attention when it came to that tag word. This peace has a lot of atmosphere here and I love how ethereal this forest scene appears. It is dark and yet there isn't anything malicious lurking, rather everything seems very peaceful, even playful despite the dangerous jellyfish. The blue lighting adds to that playfulness and I love the bits of yellow glowing light that contrasts so nicely with that bright blue. The jellyfishes look quite organic and blend well into the environment and I love the mysterious womans' pose and her flowy fabric. A few things I can critique on is the light of her skin; though the blue is gorgeous and wonderfully highlights her, I feel like the red flow should've been a stronger orange, almost yellow color instead as the glowing insides of the jellyfish would be reflecting on her skin. However this my only critique here! Gorgeous work!

Hello!
This is really a stunning image, I love the contrasting, bright colours, and the whole concept of the jellyfish forest! The composition is also really well done, with the light as well as the placement of the biggest, most eyecatching jellies, and the placement of the character herself at a third from the right drawing attention to her.
I really like how you did the character. She seems very mysterious and sinister, all alone in a nightly forest (not dressed for it at all) and staring challengingly at the viewer like that! At a guess she is a witch, or maybe even a supernatural creature. I also enjoy how you used the jellyfish to light her from different sides, with different colours. Especially her bright left side contrasts well with the dark background and makes her stand out.
One thing that struck me as off immediately was the longer tentacles you added to some of the jellyfish. They are rather too thick and don't flow naturally. Take a look at your stock photos again: you'll find that the tentacles at the edges of the bell are very fine and will more or less all flow in the same direction, rather than being spread out. I think you could even use this to your advantage, curving the tentacles of the jellyfish closest to the character slightly around her to frame her. Like having the tentacles of the red jelly flow parallel to her body and those of the white one curve around her hand (with some distance.)
The lighting in the background is also a bit off in places. Assuming the jellyfish are the main (if not only) source of light, there are a few spots that are overly lit, like by the foot of the tree nearest to the character, and underneath/in front of the largest yellow jellyfish. Also perhaps the ground to the right, under the large white jellyfish, should be a bit less illuminated.
Lastly, the fungi around the character are a good touch, adding some foreground elements like that really makes the image more interesting! The only problem is that they seem a lot less sharp and defined than the plants near them. Perhaps try giving them sharper edges to blend in better. It also might be a good idea to flip that left group of fungi, so they curve towards and "point at" the character so to speak, rather than away.
Overall this is a really neat concept well executed, and I'm sure in time you'll work out what little problems remain! Keep up the great work!

It's defiantly a good looking picture, the jelly fishes really pops the picture and gives it a fantasy vibe, they absolutely catched my attention for this picture. The color patterns to the fishes are good but if you'd might have applied one/two extra color of them(purple or pink) then that would have been a popping one then the left side of the picture wouldn't been easily forgotten. The tone of the forest is a good choice in the matter.
Another (personal trick) tip would be to create an extra layer that's transparent but in one color to tie the entire picture together. (Paint sai tools calls it overlay where it becomes a transparent color shade+brighter, don't know what the equvalent of photoshop is.)
The models lightning and shading is abit too harsh, it feels like black silk is usually ends up being blurred between the fabric and the shadow. So I'd personally would have liked to see a diffrent color of the fabric, perhaps a "cold" color to oppose the warm tones of the jelly fishes. The models arm looks flat and the hand gesture ends up being unessesary(unless those mushrooms are great ) A tips would be to shade the shoulder out in order to give the arm abit more shape.

Hi,
thanks a lot for helping,
it is called overlay in Photoshop too .
Ok get your points . You're right I should give the arm more shape and I was indeed unsure about the colouring of the cloth. It was originally red so I needed to darken it so that there is not too much colour in the piece
