Hello from ProjectComment !

The mood and ambiance I think are the strongest part of this painting ^^ You can really feel like you’re there, and you kept just the right amount of detail into the far-away cityscapes.

The main thing I’d recommend is to make the character stand out more. She’s pretty dark against the background, and when comparing with the photo I can see the photo had the person standing pretty much completely against the sky, which allowed better contrast.

Her placement might also not be ideal; she’s almost in the center, but not quite, and her head is vertically centered. Using the rule of thirds could give the image a more comfortable composition. Her upper body looks pretty great, however the legs might be a bit short, and her arms a bit skinny compared to the rest of the body.

The cloud added to the sky is a great idea to make it less empty, but perhaps having a few more smaller clouds would “fill” the sky better. Having just the one, centered cloud feels a little bit unnatural.

I do really like how you’ve handled the rocks, though. They have a great texture and feel to them. The detailing on the character is also really nice and believable, and the background is very well represented overall! Great work! ^^

Hello,

That's a good point I wasn't sure what to focus on the background or the girl... and my monitor is quite bright compared to others so its kinda difficult to get the brightness right xD

Yes the rule of thirds, someone pointed that out to me on an other painting already. I really should use that rule or others the next time . Yes you got the issue I didn't use any reference drawing the girl. Was quite unsure on the proportions xD

Well actually that clouds should be the milky way

Thaaanks

Beutiful lighting used in this illust! For improvements , i'd maybe make the sky a bit more detail (clouds, stars etc.) .If you want the main focus of the pic to be the character i recommend colouring her a bit more bright cuz its a bit too dark.

Thanks! My problem was a bit I didnt know what to focus on xD. But you're right I could have lighted the girl and the backgound up a bit

Thats a pretty large scene to tackle! wow.
But if you had the time to really grind out drawing the details of the nearest city but can also take like days, Im pretty sure its gonna be super breath taking

Yeah details take a long time, so I'm trying to simplify most of the drawing and focus on only few points that are more detailed. The human mind anyway can't focus on to many things. But it's not so easy to simplify and still make it look richt. I'm still practicing

I´m from

At first I thought that the photo was a photo, but later on enlarging it I realized that it was a drawing and that in that drawing was also a man with hat.

What can I say about this work? A great blur in the spectacular lights, the complexity of the stars that contrast with the lower part that would become the city, a good game of shadows because, despite being dark mountains, at the same time the diffusion gives them an air of illusory detail that surprises when one looks at it carefully.

The character, although with his back, has a very opaque color tone that contrasts exquisitely with the lighting of the city and his design seems attractive, having style and a good taste to dress, unlike the "Suicide Squad Joker" "xD

If I want to end my comment, once again you showed me that you have talent for art. Keep it up that way even more, forever <)

Haha funny you thought it's a photograph. But without enlarging it I can understand that . It's quite dark too . Actually it's a girl (traveling on her own) .

Aww don't know what else to say but thank you again

Wonderful job and really like the lighting here. Character is nicely drawn and I like how you painted milky way. Since the highlights are warm, you could push the shadows toward blue to bring bit more contrast and depth. Just a thought.
