Hi! This looks very nice. I see alot of comments on composition, but that just comes down to personal preferences.. the only thing I'll say is that the blue sky disappears around the white column, making it seem like a poor manipulation. Otherwise it's a striking image!

Ohh, I do love IR.
I think your clouds are a bit dark.

Great start to your IR. I notice a bit of a hot spot around the center of the image, but there is probably no way around that. Like you've said, an unmodified D200 is not the best for IR. Nikon has been increasingly aggressive with their IR cut-off filters. A friend of mine just recently had his D80 converted to IR only. I'm a bit jealous.

Such beautifully cold colours! I love how the lighthouse reaches up into the dark sky.

Magda,
Bingo.
The only thing I would suggest now is a very thin black frame, just enough to give the edges some definition against the dA background.

I have mostly gotten away from frames, but a couple pixels of outline can be a big help.

Magda,
I like the color and contrast.
Suggestions --
This has such strong vertical and horizontal lines that I would rotate a degree or so to get the lines parallel to the edges. Then, perhaps, crop out some of the foreground to just above where your signature is now.

The image is going to lean to the center because of the angle you shot it, and that's just fine. I would try to level the line of the roof eaves since that gives you a long line to work with close to the center. Or think of an imaginary line straight the center of the tower and bring that to vertical. I use the rotation dialog box as my straightedge.
