Finally I have to get myself to work... on meI think that I look really stupid in this picture - but stupid I am so why the hell shouldn't I post this
I really like this picture though I see the things I could do better - do you like it, not like it- tell me what you think!!!

I like it! Β OK, self portraits are hard. Β I've spent a little time trying to do one, and beside the fact that I'm a sculptor, not a photographer, dammit, I have yet to come up with one that isn't reallyΒ cheesy. Β This is definitely NOT cheesy. Β A little silly/goofy, irreverent, imaginative, and believe it or not, pretty, but not cheesy. Β I actually like the lighting, contrast, clarity, especially in your eyes. Β That's the soul of the portrait anyway -- the eyes, and yours are beautiful.
Besides, don't we all spend more time than we like to admit dealing with the gusts and crosswinds that life throws at us all the time?

I really love your expression here. Though only thing I would possibly change is to make the backround more uniform. Some of those subtle shadows on the wall distract me a little.

Oh, pfft -- it doesn't look stupid, just...vulnerable, for lack of a better word. Natural, too -- and that's why I like it; whimsical and sort of fearless, like you've no problem with however you're seen. I like it!
