Description
Pengu individual carry Support Weapon - 1 machine gun. Fires a 7mm Semi-Caseless Linkless (SCL) round fed to the weapon from a backpack ammo case. The backpack and feed system run on battery power to feed ammunition to a five-chamber revolver system. The ammunition feeds into the left side, rotated to the barrel, fires and then as it rotates to the right side of the system the metal base of the round is ejected.
Fire rate is selectable between single and full-auto with full-auto adjustable on the user end between 900 and 1,500 rounds/min. To assist with cooling of the heavy barrel is an active system driven by the rotating chambers. Two small fan systems on either side just beyond the chamber system bring in outside air to be passed down the barrel and out the front of the frame.
Allows for common attachment and most of the ergonomics of the SR2
