I didn't like the Mongoose ATV. Never played the later games where it was a thing, so my opinion is based on artwork and game footage/images.

the Mongoose is an ATV designed to fit Spartans and a bit too big for a regular human. I created instead the M200 "Squirrel" which is not only more appropriate in size but also ditches the civilian sport ATV appearance for a military look and function.

Like the Warthog and Badger designs the Squirrel sticks with independent electric drive motors for each wheel. The electric steering controls and touch screen panels are easy to use for the operator and there are a few storage bin/slots for equipment, food, drinks, etc for easy access.

I also wanted more functionality for a light, mobile unit so the front and back are covered in cargo panels with a modular bolt-in attachment system. various mounting options include storage mounting bars, ammunition mounting racks and weapon mounting points.

Pictured is the "naked" base setup being driven by a soldier of the female persuasion who has a "Vintage Operator Rifle" and is sporting the basic version of the military helmet design I finished recently. Not shown is the Infantry armor and SA system which mounts on the helmet.

At the bottom are two views of a fairly decked out Squirrel. An SRS anti material rifle and SAW MG are mounted on pintle mounts along with an SF-RR launcher strapped to the back. Various mounts and racks are used to store plenty of 86mm rounds, MG mags and other supplies.

You could put two of these into a Pelican along with an M300 Badger to allow for a decent mobile recon team deployment.
