You know, I've always wondered if there is gonna be a point in time in Lilo and Stitch: the Series where the Hula Girls (Elena, Teresa, and Yuki) would get fed up with their tyrranical leader (or so-called "friend") Myrtle and finally dump her in favor of the freedom from being bossed around. I mean, every other episode, they either ditch her or show signs of implication of friendliness towards Lilo and take a slight favor to her. Anyone agree?BTW, they're the reason why I love watching it! They fascinate me sooooo much!

Well, there you have but hit the right nail on the head. Although I have always most like glasses girl, Myrtle ruins everything.Β
From her side of that is never created any little character development concerning her relationship with Lilo. And Elena, Yuki & Teresa remain far outside her ways that they never realize how terribly Myrtle is.
The three girls act too profileless when they could jump out of the shadows even, for example, also to act solo, and also individually hanging out with Lilo. They three are also very cute, but, well.............Β

This is gonna be Mertle in 10 years time when Yuki, Elena and Teresa realise that they were wrong taking her side in mocking Lilo for the sake of fitting in

She brainwashed them the same way she tried to Victoria, but Victoria was shown to being just as weird as Lilo so it didn't affect her.
But according to canon the Hula Girls would actually like Lilo if Myrtle didn't make them think they didn't.

with Lilo taking charge she would supply her posse with *hoverboards as walking for transport becomes obselete followed by their trikes with wheels replacing them with **hovertrikes
*works like a skateboard but uses hover conversion rather than wheels
** similar to tricycle but uses hover conversion, flying circuits and rocket propulsion

and by 2042 when Lilo is 47 years old now married to Keoni who's 50 with 2 sons named Jules Eratosthenes Pelekai, Verne Newton Pelekai and one daughter similar to her when she was 7 she would open up the institute of Turo Alien Research cofounding the place with Keoni Jameson furthermore Lilo would hire Yuki, Victoria, Elena, and Teresa to work for her at the institute and ban Mertle from entering the institute

Well I finished a crossover with Lilo and Stitch and ANOTHER Spielberg produced franchise, Men in Black. Β I'll upload that sucker on this website by Memorial Day and I don't wanna give away so much but Lilo and Keoni get married as do Stitch and Angel. Β It'll be a wild ride with your favorite Lilo and Stitch characters with the cast of the MIB cartoon series from the late 90s/early 2000s.

That is so true. Myrtle deserves a lesson for being so mean towards others. Her minions seem so often tired of her selfabsorbed and bossy behaviour.
Still it is a funny thing how similiar these two girls are. Life has been unfair to both in very young age and that has largely affected their personalities. Lilo lost her parents and has to live with her sister who is more often in work than home. Mertle's father left his family and her mother is too kind and stupid to see her daughter's problems. They both have that empty and lonely feeling inside and they do their best to make it stop. In Phoon, Chekkers and Tank episodes it was clearly shown that Lilo can go as low as Myrtle and even lower. I think they could be friends together if Myrtle would learn some habits and Lilo control her temper a bit.
This is a great pic and I especially love that annoying "YEAAAAHH!!!" sound being used against Myrtle. It is the most annoying part of any Disney movie easily.

Myrtle gets her bossy and snobby attitude from her rich film-agent aunt and looks up to her like bread on wine. And the hula girls actually do like Lilo and are actually secretly being backstabbers to Myrtle behind her back, so that constitutes as one possibility.
Her mom however doesn't really see through her daughter because Myrtle butters her up too much, but also doesn't tolerate her bossiness either (remember the ep where she has Hamsterviel as her pet? ["Finder']). But takes a shine to Lilo since she has a "vivid imagination" and quite a spunky girl.
There haven't been any new seasons so we're not totally sure if the hula girls are gunna give Myrtle the ol' heave-ho quite yet, but there's a 70% chance they might. Who knows?

I'm thinking of writing a fan fic where a new gril comes to town and she's rich so Mertle's girls dump her and she's left to try and befriend Lilo if she wants any friends.

That sounds pretty good, actually. I love reading the kind of fanfiction where Myrtle gets what's coming to her (new girl stealing her "friends"), but then realize that she and her mindless drones have no chemistry, and is left to learn a lot from Lilo. I tell ya, I think this thing where the hula girls detest Myrtle will come eventually.

I totally agree with you about Myrtle being a snobby brat, cuz in the world of Chris Sanders, if she didn't have her spectacles. she'd look just as lonely as Lilo, which wouldn't fit the integrity of the film. Check this out and it'll tell ya what I mean [link] Another good example would be Kevin the Sea Cuccumber from SpongeBob SquarePants ("I'm Your Biggest Fan" remember that ep?).

They do that a lot when Myrtle oppresses them into an agreement with "Yeaaaa-ahh!" whenever she makes a crack about "Weird-lo", but they did do that to Myrtle a few times. I just had to make this cuz you never know if they're gonna dump her for good, ya know?
I know it's a kiddie show, but they're the reason I enjoy it!
