Wow, my longest deviation done to date! (been in my hard drive since April of last year).

Tis Kitaro (whose playing the keytar) and the lovely Lum Invader from Urusei Yatsura!

I've been wanting to do 80's-themed fanart for a long time, so I whipped together two of the most electrifying 80's anime characters and did a crossover (well, actually Lum DID make a cameo in one of 80s eps of GGGnK, anyway! [link] ). I should note though that both Kitaro and Lum DO (literally!) have the ability to discharge electric shocks to their quarry.

Btw a couple of things I should note. One, I didn't want to color the inside of Lum's mouth (it looked really ugly with red or pink), so I left it as is. Also I didn't want to add stripes to her frock, so I put them on her leggings for balance. And lastly, I might have stoned-washed Kitaro's jacket a bit, but since it was the 80's stonewashed denim was all the rage. :]

Lum's attire was inspired a bit by Olivia Newton-John's "Physical" outfit and a little of Madonna's "Lucky Star" outfit, or more like something from this [link] . Kitaro's attire was modeled a bit after Billie Jean's and Richard Marx's style, and a little bit from the kid in this commercial [link] .
