Happy birthday, Jet!
A little birthday deviation I had planned for him a for a long time but never got around to finishing until now. But alas, tis Jet as his astrological sign, the water-toting Aquarius. C:
Sorry if the water looks a little half-assed, but this was sorta a rushed job and I didn't have time to add all the details in it, but I might go back and tweak it a little bit later.
Btw I've realized this is the second (birthday) deviation I ever did of a cyborg with their respected astrological signs.

oh neat! It's strange to see a serence pic of Jet, people like to play on the extreme's of his personality. but using his astrological sign and just something that is there, his quietness, works great!

Oh yeah for Jet being an Aquarius he's shown to be wary of others and bottles up his feelings whenever there is conflict, and though this is implied, he's also shown to be somewhat shy, especially towards women. And I believe that's one of the traits of the Aquarian male.
I think the reason I like drawing him looking so serne is because in the original (translated) manga, he rarely acts hostile and has more of that beatnikish "cool-as-a-cuccumber" personality, and to me that's something that sorta stuck with me when I drew him more and read more into the series. C:
I also think that it's fun when you can take a character whose so overtly brash and impulsive and then shock the viewer into having him do something that's like the complete opposite.

I really like this! I immediately understood what it was about when I saw the thumbnail. I think you should make pics of the rest of the gang with their astrological signs as well!

I think the water effect is great :3. Although it would have been good to have a little bit of transparency near his feet. Still I like the colour <3

I'll try to work on the pic some more, to me there's something about it that says "I'm still unfinished."
The pouring water was actually the hardest part of the pic, so I spent more than two hours trying to make it look like "believable" zodiac water.
