Description
The loser of the Joint Strike Fighter Programme that occured in 2003 was Boeing's rather odd looking X-32 Joint Strike Fighter.My drawing depicts the X-32B, which was the Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) version of Boeing's demonstrator.
It's just a quick refresher back to pencil drawings. It's done in HB and 4B on 120GSM A3 Cartridge paper. I took a photo instead of scanning it, as my scanner can only scan A4. Unfortunately, the camera didn't do any justice to the drawing.
The little logo in the bottom right-hand corner of the drawing is an actual sticker of the Pratt and Whitney emblem.

If the X-32 had looked like its mock-up [link] it probably would have beaten the F-35. I'm not sure how Boeing changed the design to something completely bizzare, seriously, this has to be the ugliest jet ever

I actually like this bird (well the A variant moreso). I think you did a superb job on this drawing. It's very realistic.

great job on the drawing, but I've got to agree with Wind-hover, Boeing's entrant was one Uuuugly bird! most people I know of compared it's appearance with a Pelican with it's moth held wide open. XD
