The Lieutenant of Squad Four, Mizaku was born in the Seireitei and her parents where both high ranked seats in Squad One, meaning she would no doubt follow in their footsteps. Her childhood held rigorous training, being told constantly by her parents that she must be better than everyone else...and she believed it. That molded her personality and even during her time at the Academy, felt she was above all other students. That high horse attitude cracked after The Quincy Betrayal, when her mother was killed in action and her father seriously wounded; even more so with the Captain-Commander falling in battle that day as well. To try and atone for her past attitude, she asked the Captain of Squad Four, Hikari Yamamoto, to take her under her wing.
