Description

This is the first time Thanos and Salem meant each other. Thanos on his quest to find the Infinity Stones to impress Mistress Death entered the Realm of Darkness where the Soul Stone had been. His travels eventually found him at Salem's castle, where he encountered the Grimm Queen herself. The two had battled for a short time until Thanos realized that Salem had complete control over the Soul Stone, something he didn't think anyone could do without something like the Infinity Gauntlet. Salem asks why he wanted the Stone, to which Thanos replies about his quest. Salem states that Lady Death could just be using Thanos and that she might not even be interested in him, something that angers Thanos. Salem told him about how she was betrayed by God-Like beings, and her quest to find the Relics. Thanos still was angered, but he could not deny what Salem was saying could be true. In fact, something Thanos had remembered before leaving was that Lady Death had a lover already, but he ruled out that due to thinking it was a rumor. At this point, both are interested in each other, so Salem offers an idea to Thanos. She says if he can prove Lady Death is using him, she would hand over the Stone. Thanos thought that Salem could just be using him like Lady Death could be doing to him, but he also wanted answers regarding Lady Death so he left to find Lady Death.

Salem: (Hmmm his not half bad looking.)
