These large spots are used to blend into the grasses and the trees which helps it hunt prey. It has sharp teeth that are used to kill its large prey and rip apart meat. It has sharp claws which it uses to grasp onto prey.
The hunting kangaroo has a hunting strategy that has meant it successful. It will wait in the grasses near a large tree for prey to come along its path. Once a prey animal to come along, it will ambush the prey animal and bring it up into the tree. This allows it not to have other predators to take it.
