Description
I scribbled all this in my sketchpad between work, then scanned and edited with PSCS.By the way, if anything looks quirky to you that's because I just learned all of this by observation.
So, take it with a grain of salt, virgin olive blah blah--

I love you so much. I've always sucked at drawing my own guns in general without a ref so I've been researching how they work and it's been a pain to find one for pistols that actually explained the parts. I learned SOOOOO much.
Very awesome!

All is good apart from the handle meeting the body at a sharp little wedge.
There is always a curve.

I want to tell you that this is amazing, and you even explained all the parts for fanfiction writers like myself. So, instead of giving you a generic thanks, I want to
SAY THANK YOU ALL THE WAYS!

Nice Job! I never really thought about the dimensions like this, I always went with my judgment and knowledge of weapons to get them as close as possible but this is much more useful and precise. Do you have a tutorial on a frontal view? that is what I have the most trouble with. Either way great tutorial.

Very helpful, thank you! I'm hopeless at drawing firearms of any kind, but hopefully this will help me on the way to drawing something that actually looks convincing.

One thing you might want to add if you ever choose to update this is the ejection port is usually only seen from one side. Lots of people goof and draw it whether the gun is viewed from the left or the right. I've done that myself lots of times. (Part of the reason I switched gears with the characters I focus on is because I got sick of trying to get guns right.)
Great tut, it's simple and easy to follow.
