This is so amazing! My only question would be if toph can make the angels quantum-lock. By then, it would be a one way fight either way and oh my gosh this is awesome!!!!

I wonder if Toph's seismic sense (the trick where she uses earthbending to "see") would trigger their quantum locking, or if you have to look at them with your eyes. Let's call it an experiment.

I don't think the rule of not blinking would apply to Toph due to the fact that she's blind so she can't "See" Them in a conventional sense, She stares at them every second since she can use her Earthbending as a sort of sonar.

Therefore the weeping angels are only being quantum - locked by each other

It's not sonar, it's Motion-Tracking.
Radar and Sonar use aΒ series ofΒ sounds called PingsΒ to pinpoint physical objects, since the devices pick up the echoes that bounce off the objects.

Yeah, made for a really good scene in Season 5. Not sure how it works entirely because the only authority on the Weeping Angels who wrote about them, knew more than the Doctor about them, was also apparently insane, so his way of phrasing things doesn't have much analysis. Might be as simple as projection through image... or an entirely new angel might be created.
But two things learned from Season five. Do not capture their image, and do not look them in the eyes... They can get inside your head from your eyes, and once in, it's only a matter of time.

The question is not how she fights them. the question is whether the angels movement is detectable.

But wait... weeping angels are only stone when in the sight of another living creature. Does Toph's earth-sight count? Anyways, so long as she has some way to freeze them (either by herself or by someone else helping her out) she can beat them.

Thanks! And yep, that's the question-- whether earth-sight counts. Of course since all Amy had to do was PRETEND she could see them, I'm guessing Toph's vision is good enough, haha.
