Description
Download for full viewI wanted to make a digital painting tutorial or WIP document back in 2009 with an old werewolf painting I started. But the problem with me and tutorials is that I get so wrapped up in my work and experiment so much with each new digital painting there's no explicit step by step method. As I began making the previous commission I suddenly realized it was in an early enough stage I could start saving the WIPs, (but that was once the belly scales were pretty much shaded).
I tried my best to explain my process but I ended up chopping off the end bit and a short eye tutorial because I decorated my background a little too much and couldn't expand the document. XD I got wrapped up in making a fancy background... shoot me. If you can believe it I was looking for a tutorial to make a neutral wallpaper for the tutorial but I came across a cool crystal ball one and found myself applying that tutorial to my wallpaper. So I couldn't add more information without destroying my background.
Disclaimer: I'm not a good teacher.
If you seek to absorb all the information possible about digital painting and whatnot, I advise looking at several digital painting tutorials and not just one. We all have different styles and levels so be broad with your studies.
I do hope it helps and didn't just make a ton of people want to put guns in their mouths.

More or less until I skip several steps.
