Description
Name also subject to change when I get around to finalizing anything, but this is Magdolene's best friend/partner in their ghastly adventures. There's to be a third and possibly fourth main character, but all of this is in such early development I don't even have a title yet.The way the idea's headed, it's sort of feeling like a mashup of Scooby Doo (something I'm sort of indifferent/sarcastically a fan of), Charlie's Angels (something I've never actually watched at all) and the Colour out of Space (something I consider my horror story bible).
Salina may or may not end up with a tiny shell somewhere. I think it might make her design too cluttered, but it's cute to think of her hiding completely inside it. Maybe it can go on her head like a hat.

All of your designs are always awesome, plus Scooby Doo (something I'm sort of indifferent/sarcastically a fan of), Charlie's Angels (something I've never actually watched at all) and the Colour out of Space (something I consider my horror story bible).-I could say the same about my self , I can't wait for a comic

Heh, I used that as a joke with my primate-derived mermaids. They all look like women, which is great until science sinks in...

I like these character designs-you do have a knack for this sort of thing.
Also, did you intend the little double-pun in the name?

Also, I forgot to mention that "the Colour out of Space (something I consider my horror story bible)"--YES. Singlehandedly the best Lovecraft story. The Curse is one of my favorite horror movies, and it fills me with rage that just because they "took out the alien entity" they felt no need to cite Lovecraft as the source for their inspiration.

So many horror writers cite the Colour as their favorite; even the guy who came up with The Blob said it gave him the idea of an abstract meteor-monster in the first place. Ever see Creepshow, where Steven King himself writes and stars in an homage to it?

Wasn't the Blob inspired by the pwdre ser phenomenon?

That'd make sense, but I keep hearing the Colour cited as inspiration. There might not be any official word, probably internet interpretation.

I love the design of this! The best Velma clone to date! The fake glasses are my favorite part.
As for a shell-ution (), how about her bowtie?

I hope you go with a shell-like for her. Seeing her all pulled up in there would be pretty dang cute.
That lower right sketch is one of the most disturbing yet awesome things I've seen all day.

Maybe she has no shell. Maybe a hermit crab chick stole it.

A shell/hat would look stylish. Maybe mix in a bit of Murex shell design to make it look like there's a feather in her cap.

like Magdolene she's also cute ^^
A shell? hmm... it would be neat if it was like a backpack. I remember in a anime called Karas theres this demon snail like kid. He's wearing a raincoat, and his shell is a backpack.
And looking at her design, which makes her like the brain of the group she should have the shell backpack. And going agaisnt law of physics. She should hide in there ^^ which could be cute.

I forgot all about Karas, I loved that snail kid!
Yeah if she gets a shell she can hide her whole mass in it

Naming the slug girl after the substance most lethal to her... nice
Magdolene is my favorite of the two so far. I can't wait to see what comes next!

She really reminds me of myself for some odd reason. And for that reason (plus the fact that's she's a gastropod), I give Salina five thumbs up.

Could give her random shell-themed items. Shell purse, shell hat, shell mobile home, shell-shaped heavy weapon's platform... y'know. For negotiations.

Wow, another Velma clone. I think a girlstropod is a concept with limitless potential. Plus I love her radula. Is her shell going to make her anything like a Sazaeoni?
By the way, I think you should consider making the maggot girl a conglomeration of locusts instead. You can't go wrong with a humanoid plague of locusts.
And by the way, I think you should consider watching Charlie's Angels. It's very entertaining in an MST3K sort of way. The show that is. The movies know they're comedy, and are all the worse for it.

Maggots are much easier for me to draw though, and to most of the world, the single most revolting and horrific of all insects, so a lot more fun to make into a heroine

I quite like the idea of the pointless glasses still on her face even though she has eye stalks. Not sure on the bow tie though, perhaps a turtle neck or ascot type thing?
As for the shell, no idea on how you'll pull that off, but it would be awesome!
