The other night I had a bizarre dream in which I was watching some sort of educational, musical cartoon for children, explaining that people apparently just grow on trees before they’re born into “real life.”But there’s one tree that nobody talks about. Only evil men grow on it, and nobody wants them, so they’re never born. They just stay on their tree and keep growing there, forever, thinking their evil things.
I can’t remember how the song about it went, but I remember it built up to a loud ominous chorus of “THE TREE OF EVIL MEN” when it was shown to us, and the image of it is vivid in my mind. Once I woke up I realized the "evil men" just looked like distortions of Spoony's Daddy Long Legs characters.
I sure use a lot of glowy green backgrounds and shadowy figures lately.

Some of my worst nightmares have centered around audio cues. Trying to convey that feeling is horribly frustrating, but I feel like I'm at least somewhere close to the same page you were on when I look at this.

This one didn't scare me - it's been years and years since I've had scary dreams, for some reason, which is sad because they were fun - but when I used to have intense nightmares, it was always interesting how arbitrary the objects of fear often were, and sometimes purely audio like you're saying.
They didn't even have to be necessarily frightening sounds. A person in the dream saying something totally mundane, or a pointless noise from the real world like a car driving by, would just suddenly feel absolutely terrifying to the point of being shocked awake. I had a lot of dreams where it was just an unexpected cartoon noise, like a "boing" or a "splat."

I saw, that somehow makes it more creepy, the way the mind can distort things. Like last night, I had a dream my house was infested with hermit crabs, except the looked more like tick with snail shells that lived in the drying machine. Funny that.

So if someone chopped the tree down would it bring about world peace?... or is there a tree of evil WOMEN out there to make up for it...
I wish I could remember my crazy dreams anymore. I used to keep a journal, but lately it seems like I forget them as soon as I wake up. I think I've only had two that I remember anydetails about in the last year or so.

Yeah they'd probably all be born instantly with no tree to go back to, and it'd likely grow back.
Maybe the "evil men" are even born as women sometimes and are all the evil people, ever!

Waaaaay back in the oldest pages of my gallery is a journal where I wrote down other fun ones like this, but eventually I stopped remembering my dreams as easily

You should try the practise of keeping a dream journal, when you awake from a nifty cool dream, you must write it down IMMEADIETLY and then go back to sleep, this will if you repeat it over and over make your brain more willing to stock up the details about your dreams, and you can go back to review the details later in the future if you forget. Dreams are an excellent source of weird and wild inspiration.
