Description
In Haitian mythology, the Loogaroo is a witch who transforms herself into a vampire at night by removing her skin. In some tales, she then resembles a flying ball of light. In others, she is simply a skinless woman with turkey's wings, and flies by shooting sparks from her rear and armpits. She carries a long straw, which she uses to drink blood. This is one of many vampires I have illustrated for an upcoming BOOK PROJECT in cahoots with !

Nice to see someone who realise breasts are fat and not muscles, unlike this hack 66.media.tumblr.com/f81e282fb8…

I am going to enjoy the faces of my D&D players when they'll have to fight these. Now i have a new reason to prepare a pirates-themed campaign.

Nice attention to detail on the breasts, it's not often that you see them accurately portrayed when skinless like that. By the way have you by any chance every heard of a vampire that only consists of a head and drinks blood through it's nose ? I think it's from South-East Asian mythology. I say a picture of it in a book when I was younger but can't remember it's name.

I read recently about a vampire that fits the description named Incus but not much information beyond that.

Yeah when I have seen breasts on skinless characters people usually portray them as muscle for some reason.

Damn. and I thought the Nuckelavee was nuts but holy shit, this.
Speaking of really weird vampires, I remember there being a native Australian one that swallowed you would and then sucked out all your blood, then spat him out.

Despite the absurdity of the description, being stalked by a bloody woman, streaking through the air with lighting trying to suck out your life essence through a thick reed would most definately be horrifying.
