Happy Valentine's Day from the covergirl of Overwatch!For those unfamiliar with Overwatch, "Cheers love! The cavalry's here!" is what Tracer says when she's selected. She's a character who can control her flow of time, and is also the first officially confirmed lesbian character in Overwatch. Tracer is one of my sister's favorite characters to play as, so I definitely had to draw this awesome lady.
This style is loosely based on Renée Kurilla's style. marmiz got me her sketchbook a few years back, and it was fun incorporating some elements of it!

Oh definitely! The face has so many little details, and usually it's the most important part of the piece. For me, sometimes just the lips take longer than the whole body, and I haven't really gotten them quite down yet. I really admire how well you are able to consistently draw, place, and color lips so well!

Yeah, the face and the hands are difficult because they portray so much of the character, and also because if something is sligthly off it looks really weird. Other body parts are slightly more forgiving in that aspect. XD

Agreed! With how much the hands and face and convey, people really pay attention to them. That being said, I also find bare feet really difficult haha... usually they're covered up with clothes, but when I have to draw them out, even though they're not as expressive as hands, they're really tricky! XD

What am I supposed to trace? She's such a cute character and a great covergirl! Is that what the "C" on the heart stands for? Or is it a "Cheart?" What a lovely arts! First one old man, then young lady! She is gonna have to get off of his mustard lawn!

You're supposed to trace the sparkling miasma in the sky back to find the source! Wherever could it be from? And the "C" stands for calamari, which one time ye loved to eat because it was perfectly underfried with oil dripping out with each zesty bite, perfect to have after a mayonnaise coated, fried crawfish, fried crispy rice with half stale chips totes authentic sushi roll! Didn't you want that from Santa? Now you can get it for Valentine's, ready to dip in a side of honey mustard!
