A minimal theme for windows 8.1This was just a quick side project of Sharp but I still decided to share it.

Make sure to check glass behind navbar in oldnewexplorer settings.
The top border color can be changed in Control Panel\Appearance and Personalisation\Personalisation\Colour and Appearance.
It's recommended to disable the explorer ribbon and the up button. Also I recommend to apply Glow Tweaks: seapip.com/Glow%20Tweaks.exe

27-06-14: -Fixed gray titlebar on maximized windows
-Fixed darker color behind titlebar text
-Fixed taskbar background on small taskbar and top taskbar

This is just stunning!
The Title bar Text color of Applications are is white, yet of which in Windows Explorer(eg: open folders) are in color of black.

Thanks, I really love this theme. BTW, do you know how to "hide" the green loading bar from the adress? And, if it's not much to ask, can we have a small icons edition? (Minimize, maximize and close) because I can't see them in Firefox.

Hmm that isn't possible, hiding that loading bar means hiding all loading bars which is a bad idea. I got a ssd so actually never saw it
You can also instead use some css in firefox to fix those icons from being overlapped.

Excellent theme. I've been using it since the past week and i love it. Noticed a couple of bugs though. Maybe it's just the config on my PC but would love it if you checked it out.

Because somehow your titlebar caption height does not seem correct and smaller then it should be.

Yep. Windows/Resources/Themes.
I used ONE to disable the ribbon. But whenever the Ribbon is disabled, it shows the menu bar. It's like that with every custom theme i use.
But its cool. Its not that bad.

Weird the shellstyle.dll in the msstyles should remove it for you.
Did you copy all files of the theme to the correct folder?

ah yes, thank you. fixed it by changing title bar text size back to its default setting. I tried to reproduce this, but it didn't happen this time. weird.
also, the clock issue is still there. when its 00:00 or 00:06 etc, the last number is slightly cut off. but i can live with that because its such a brilliant theme

I'm not good with pc, still i want to install this awesome theme.
The problem is, i followed the instructions step by step, and still can't obtain the results you show in the picture. Could you explain steps again? (maybe i'm missing something).
The only part missing is where i enlarge the top of the folders.

I've downloaded oldnewexplorer and have checked "Enabled glass on navigation bar" but some how the location under the title bar is still blank/ white

idk what the black icon is but if i click on it, it will switch the window i'm at to another monitor.
Anyway, I fixed it by uninstall Shell then reinstall it

I had the same issue before but I needed to do a clean install anyways. Although now it seems to be hit and miss for the buttons to show. Sometimes I'll open Windows Explorer and the buttons will be missing and if I close and reopen it, it shows fine. What you could try is overwriting the system files to see if its because of any modifications to the files.
