=========================================================================
When I get my hands on Genocide, I'm going pay her back for taking my blood out of my eye! That fucking hurt like hell, and I'm going to make her experience it tenfold!
During her time of capture with Genocide, her and Genocide did get to know each other a little bit, with Genocide continuously trying to get her to join the Legion and Lin refusing to join. Genocide, always wanting to improve her formula using the blood of other Supers, tried to take some blood out of Lin. When she tried to take the blood out of Lin's limbs, however, she found out about Lin's thick skin and that her dense musculature prevented the needles from penetrating her. After breaking a few needles this way, Genocide switched tactics and stuck the needles in Lin's eyes instead to get what she wanted.
Lin screamed in unholy pain and anger, struggling at her bonds. Even in her weakened state, the adrenaline rush and her anger fueled her strength to a level very close to what it would be normally without her using her chi energy. Lin struggled with her chains again, straining them slightly this time, worrying Genocide. After she got the blood out of Lin's eyes, she quickly rushed to get her gauntlets and used them to drain Lin's energy again, knocking her out again.
While Lin was briefly knocked out, thoughts of the pain and suffering that she was going to give Genocide pulsed through her mind. She was going to pay Genocide back, and in spades!
==========================================
Once she woke up, she figured that she had to think to get out of this mess. Therefore, Lin had started to meditate as best as she could, considering her current surroundings, to focus her energies and calm herself down until the time was right. After getting some of her blood and draining her energy again, Genocide had not returned to visit her. Lin wondered what Genocide was up to, but figured more likely than not she was examining her blood or something. She chuckled, wondering what Genocide would think when she found out that for all intents and purposes that she was just a very super-strong human, save maybe for elevated levels of certain vitamins, nutrients and minerals that are found in spinach…
Later on, Lin's meditation was broken when she heard the alarms going off, and the lights had turned red as well. She grinned, “Oh, this should be good…” Lin then assessed how much energy she truly had and she figured that she was about halfway back to full chi energy. “As long as I can get rid of those gauntlets somehow, it should be enough… I just have to fight smarter this time, that’s all. Maybe whoever or whatever’s setting off this alarm can help me out in that respect.” She then pulled all of her available chi energy in service as she yanked at the chains with her left arm, shattering both the chain and the bracelet, as well! She quickly broke the other chains and let her chi energy drop back in place as she stretched for a few minutes to loosen up her muscles that had tightened up for standing up for so long. As she was loosening up her muscles, she had an idea and brought her chi energy back up to execute the idea. She tore the remnants of the chains from the ground, and then squeezed the ends of the chain together to form a 6’ length of chain! Once she was satisfied with her new weapon, she let her chi energy relax for a couple of minutes. She finished stretching her muscles, and made a few practice swings with the chain. Soon, she was ready to bust out of there. After she figured that it might take an equivalent to a tank to break that door down, she activated her chi energy once more, backed up to the other end of the cell and got up as much speed as she could in that space, lowering her shoulder into the door, sending it off of its hinges into the next room, her tumbling in the same direction from her momentum. Once she managed to regain her feet, she smelled smoke, so she kept her head low for a little while as she got her bearings. Not seeing Genocide in sight, she put her chi energy back in reserve and let it continue to replenish.
She saw some of Genocide's henchwomen rushing toward something, but only some of them were heading toward the fire. Curious, she followed the ones heading away from the fire and toward more of their comrades that looked like they were surrounding at least 3 men, one of which had 2 skulls on his body, one on his shoulder and the other on his chest, with limited success.
Lin briefly mused, "An enemy of my enemy is my friend..... I hope." She then waded into the mass of Genocide's minions, tossing them aside until she was able to talk to them......
