Description
A pencil drawing of my DC Comics OC Venom Rose. A plant themed, superpowered anti-hero and thief I originally created for Scribblenauts: Unmasked. She is the leader and founding member of the thief gang known as The Venom Roses which consists of female thieves with inhuman flatulent abilities.

Name: Isabella Samantha Florina
Alter-Ego: Venom Rose

Occupation: Botanist, thief, leader of The Tainted Roses
Home: New Petal City, England
Personality: Isabella is quiet and a bit of a bookworm that prefers to keep to herself. As Venom Rose however she is energetic, spry and taunting. She seeks every opportunity to make a joke at someone else's expense. She is also more daring and prone to switch moods spontaneously.

Powers: Flight, fast speed, potent flatulence and the ability to create spores that mutate plants into larger, flying purple monsters that will assist her in battle.
Source of Power: Her staff Wilt
Weakness(es): Fire. It weakens and can even nullify Wilt's power.
Combat Style: Her combat style both on the ground and in the air are rhythmic and almost seem like a jester's dance. It can distract adversaries and throw people off giving Venom Rose opportunities to go on the offensive. She can often combine her flatulence with these movements to taint the air and incapacitate large groups.

Origin Story: Isabella is a botanist by profession but she developed a gambling addiction that soon cost her her job and eventually her life. On hard to times she was eventually mugged in an alley and lost almost everything she had left including her hope.

Crouching in her home in despair she gave up and was ready to end it all with the one group of organism she loved. Ready to ingest a sample of C. maculatum (perhaps more commonly known as Hemlock) to put an end to her torment.

However with the jar in her hands she began to hear a whisper in her mind. At first she dismissed it but it grew louder. Curious she put down the jar and followed the directions the voice was directing her in. It lead her to Grand Oak Park where an unusual tree was standing that she had never seen before. As she approached it the tree seemed to be splitting open in the front. Upon arriving the split opened revealing a strange staff inside. She reached out and upon contact memories flashed through her head of an old English thief that went by the name Venom Rose.

Isabella recognised the thief's voice as the same voice that guided her to the staff. After the real of memories played through her mind the voice of Venom Rose told her that she was her descendent, the one destined to wield her staff Wilt and become the new Venom Rose.

With nowhere to turn she accepted this new opportunity. She clutched Wilt and its magic coursed through Isabella. Her cloths were transformed into the stylized jester like outfit of her ancestor and with a cackle she began to dance around with glee as the plants around turned purple and twisted. And the modern Venom Rose was born.
