Description

These are sketches I did of trap boxes (devices that will be appearing in my Tír na nÓg comic, Etarlam and The Mirror Queen will be using them).
When designing the trap boxes, I wanted them to be big and old. Metallic chests with mechanisms to open the hatch and release whatever's inside.

Embossed on these boxes is a seal with runic writing on it.
In ancient times a seal like this was delivered to the enemy as a declaration of war. A signal from the underground realm to the entire world.
The faeries delivered these boxes during their war with humanity.
