Description A shot of Morgoth from a savestate several days ago. Armor is forming up to be similar in style to that of Saurons, though more solid and molten-like, as was the visual i gathered from the Gods' fall from the light described in the book. If you check the mini-design of Morgoth's entire form in my scraps section, you can make out the back portion of his armor which i had developed into a back/upward draw of spikes and rocky shapes , similar to that of a meteor falling to earth, burnt and shaped from the atmosphere's blast.
Hopefully this attempt at a most difficult and complex presence will form up to at the very least whisper some tribute to the minds which designed Sauron's dark form in the films (which i thought was a most excellent concept). With Morgoth as the original, and far superior Dark lord, and Sauron's full character coming post, this guy would obviously be a grander, more elaborate display. Engravings will be the last thing to fully mass over the armor, displaying the again superior craft of forging that Morgoth possessed.
One of the Silmarils is coming along, as you can see. Also, i'm working on an arm for him, in a similar pose as to Feanor's (extended with open hand), and having a large area of his palm cinged to a badly damaged state, thus his grasping hold on the Silmarils during Ungoliant's assault.
Suggestions as he's coming along are most welcome.

Haha, was going to say "Wait...aren't there three Silmarils?" but that's the fun of a work in progress.
Still, it looks quite awesome just the way it is.

that is an awesome design! brilliant stuff. I like how it kind of echoes the Sauron film armor design yet has its own look. you should do more Tolkien inspired stuff its really neat to see. I love it keep at it!
