Did this a whole time ago; now I decided that I could submit something to dA again
This is simply a usefull tool for your desktop - you can use this flash-file as your windows wallpaper and will be able to write (notes for expample) or draw onto your desktop in one of the four available colors.
Click on one of the four colored circles to choose your color, then draw.
The dashed circle is a rubber - drag it!
Everything you write will be saved of course!
In the download-version you can have a background.
The background image can be changed to whatever you like (800*600 pixles).

As I said I did this a long time ago; I got it as my wallpaper since about a year and it works fine. Sometimes I forget important things, but since I use this I just write myself notes and never forget anything

An idea: You should be able to write notes with the keyboard, by clicking anywhere - like in paint. That would be a great utility

You're awesome, and it's been recognized, I'm ~plzen-czech , and I'm part of a project over at *Deviant-Underground to promote underappreciated artists, and share their art with our watchers, each day three pieces are featured in the group journal. From there deviants are asked to participate by posting the featured thumbs in their own journals to promote both the artists and the project. Then on each Saturday the 5 favorite deviations from that week are posted again in a weekly journal entry and those deviations are put into a poll. By the next week, the deviation with the most votes is submitted to the clubs gallery with comments disabled and a link to the original. So eventually, when the project gets bigger, then that should have a huge effect on the featured deviations comments and favorites.
Anyway, today your piece was featured in todays journal entry.

I think it's actually called "Active desktop" or something like that.
But basically you just use a website or some html-file from your drive as wallpaper like any other graphic ^^
