My little pony: Frienship is magic - DerpyMore in the "these pegasi are totally out of proportion!"-series
This time it's everyone's favorite pony: Derpy!
I wanted to get her in a kind of melancholy mood.
I like to think that inside her head she's perfectly stable and she's trapped in a derpy body.
... and how she's actually quite hurt how everypony kinda makes fun of her or that nobody really likes her 'cause of her clumsyness
(maybe that's a bit sadistic, but it makes me sympathise with derpy a lot!)
Anyway, I also wanted to give a good view of her wings, so... this is how she ended up :3

I sometimes wonder if people know that they're, well, retarded.
I'm pretty sure people who have brain damage from an accident (as long as it isn't 'too bad') know and get frustrated because their body isn't working right, but if you have it from birth, can you ever really imagine anything else? It's pretty depressing either way, really. :<

i LOVE big winged Pegasus. if i drew Pegasus more often, i would draw them like that.
and it makes complete sense that people some forgot Pegasus need big wings about there body mass to lift them off the ground.

I love the way you draw wings. Most people don't realize how big a Pegasus' wings would have to be to get it off the ground, and so they draw comically tiny wings that would serve only as decoration.

These are great! I love this style! I'd love to see other ponies! Have you considered doing non-winged ponies? And I love how you have the same idea about Derpy as me, although I still prefer to call her Ditzy Doo.

This is my favorite one you've made. Derpy looks amazing when she looks melancholy and deep in thought. I love the way her hair just kinda flows along the ground. Its beautiful. God i love this pony!
