Scene takes place in my AU New Start verse

In this verse Kirk left the Enterprise after only a few months and accepted command of the science vessel, Saratoga. While there Kirk meets Alyen and his lifemate Shylea L'Naym. The three immediately form a strong bond and months later the lifemates form a Soul Sibling bond with Kirk; basically adopting him as their older brother and becoming his younger brother and sister. Theirs is a very unique friendship; a Starship captain and two enlisted crewmen. But Kirk's always been destined to be unique.

Jim's older brother George left home when he was still a kid.
One of the things Jim gets from his Tuskaro and Shylea is that he gets to be an older brother
With Tuskaro he gets the chance to the chance to have a brother and with Shylea he gets to have a sister
Tuskaro grew up with two older sisters so with Jim he get to have a brother.
Shylea grew up an only child. She has a Soul Sister but with Jim she gets a brother.
