ok, this is a stupid question, but i am new to this xDDD
what does "wet-wet" mean? or "wet-dry"? or any other variation of that phrase XDD sorry i am....new ^^"

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

seiracchi In reply to Kitto-Kun [2011-02-27 20:44:08 +0000 UTC]

Ahh no problems haha, I dont mind answering :'D

"Wet-wet" is like "wet paint onto wet paper", meaning that you wet the paper with water first, and then apply wet paint to that! Or, you could add wet paint to parts of the paper that already have damp paint on it owo Err, I hope that was understandable aha;; And "wet-dry" is like, "wet paint onto dry paper" :3 Wet-dry is best for smaller areas, since the paint dries faster if the paper isnt damp when you apply it (and then it gets all streaky owo~)

So, um, I guess "dry-dry" would be dry paint and dry paper, and "dry-wet" would be dry paint and wet paper, though I dont know if thats what that technique is actually called ehe ^^~

Hmm.. I should get around to making that tip list;; Ive been meaning to for awhile ^^'' I hope that helped a bit!! Feel free to ask any other questions, Im not sure how well I explained that haha;;

So in otherwords, i'm glad you made this! it honestly helped, though i don't have the right kind of paper, i now know the steps needed and a thought process on how much water will also be needed

Danke~! Arigato~! Merci~! Thankya~!
