"Ah. I see," he said as he listened patiently.
"Sometimes... sometimes things don't go the way we want them to...
But even if that should be... we still should never turn our backs to the ones who need and rely on us."
"Come on," Aang said with a cheerful smile.
"Let's go find your mother."
I just always loved how Lin (and Asami!) keep helping those around them despite being given so many lemons in life. They're my two favorite new characters because of it and I imagined that, at least for Lin, her heroism came from an inspiring conversation with Aang when she was young

That would be... basically every episode. Because Aang is the smiliest, happiest person ever (which is especially impressive considering, y'know, genocide) and he does have that signature crooked smile.

Lin is my nr. 1 favorit in Korra. She's as strong and reliable as a rock - but not very bendable though she's a metalbender. But I like that subbornes about her.
This is a nice picture, but I have to say this one thing - this is the first time I really see the kid-Aang in his older self. Really good job
