this is the colored version. i added the side armor attached to the hips(no, they're not wings), as well as minor stuff. this was done with photoshop. i would like to try and add a background later if possible.Related content

That thing must weigh quite a bit to lug around all that armor. I dont think that two legs would be very efective unless some serious hydraulics were put in to stabalize it. Oh well, it is still as badass as hell, though I would hate to have to go in reverse in that thing, would probably take forever >.>.
Dont worry, that is just some Military-Nut critisim. Hope it helps! Mabey a four-legged platform would be more efective?

hey, thanx. i think you have to think in futuristic terms like lightweight composite metals and advanced mechanics technology to make these kinds of futuristic weapon platforms. the weapon systems i design don't neccesarily conform to the laws of science but i make it where the laws of science conform to my weapon systems. i really didn't think about those kinds of things. thanks again.

yeah, i made the dual cannon larger than the original sketch to make the mecha look beefier. i made the rocket pack a little bigger and box like shape to give it a heavy appearance. and the gun was made to look bulky and powerful. thank you for the observation.

thanx a lot, but i got careless and forgot to add stuff; there's no shadow below the mini hydraulic actuators to open the hatches(behind the head), there's still some sketch marks around, and i misspelled the word "manufaCturer"! now why did i not catch that?! again, thanks a lot.

I in fact used gimp. its not as well organized as photoshop, so it took a long time.

it took a looooooong time. i would say it took over 9 hours. the shadowing and highlighting REALLY frustrated me...and i still think it needs more work!
