like always, i used pencils, copic markers, and photoshop. i get my ideas from anime from the 80s and 90s. there aren't as many power suit related anime now as there were back in the day. the weapons i designed were from books i have. plus living in japan for some time helped a lot.Related content

i don't know if the style is similar but i love it's creator, Masamune Shirow. I've seen many of his works and have many of his books...i can say his style and imagination definitely has had an impact on my works.

hey, thanx for the appreciation. yeah, lived there for seven years mostly working for the japanese government. i just joined the military and i'll be moving back to tokyo. ey, i checked your deviant page....kamusta ka...mabutenaman. i'm pinoi too! but i speak/read/write more japanese than tagalog(just the bad wordz).

eventhough i learned in college, no one could understand me there cuz it was "textbook" japanese. i had to relearn the language per se. what anime and manga you see in the states represents about 10-20 percent of what they have in japan. bookstores there have a big section devoted just for that.
