Description
Here is the latest addition to the Color Spectrum series, Aurora.Like most of the others, I tried to give Aurora historically accurate dresses to showcase. Giambattista Basile published Sun, Moon and Talia, one of the precursors to the Sleeping Beauty tale, in 1634 in The Pentamerone, and thus these dresses are based on the fashions of the 1630's.

I love the medieval theme of the movie but the Renassaince fashion realy fits her well.

So awesome. I love how she came out. You draw her so well. I really like all the dresses, it is really hard to pick one. I like the colours you chose, pink, blue and green for the fairies, and purple for the composite dress they always put her in. And I love the rose she's holding.
Also, awesome background, It's Sleeping Beauty's Castle from Disney Land, right?

I don't recall that. I was going with the date of origin from the original tales for most of these anyway. The original tale of Sleeping Beauty was first written down in the 1630's.
