also when colour 1 is the colour you want to change and colour 2 is the colour you want to change it to. then, drag the mouse ( while holding down right click) over the same colour as colour 1 and the colour should change to whatever colour 2 is.

This was extremely helpful! Β Also, I thought I might let you know it works on a Mac program called "Paint X"/"Paint X Lite" that's a lot like MS Paint. Β Thank you!

Well, or you take the color of the outline that is on the base in the first color then you put the color you want the outline to be in the second color then get your easer and right click.

There is more easier way:
1)Pick a colour you need as COLOUR 2
2)Make the colour of outline as COLOUR 1Β
3)Choose the eraser
4)Hold right button and move your mouse around for outline to get recolored

Tbh, that one takes more time. I prefer the method shown in the tutorial.

That way works too I prefer the way I do it because I find it faster, but the eraser method is also a very good one

SelenaEde In reply to Carla-Lockwood-Shane [2016-01-30 23:14:16 +0000 UTC]
Are you sure you are using the right version of the tutorial? This one is for Windows 7/8/10 Paint. Do you know which step isn't working for you?

I'm not sure that it will be any clearer, even if I note you with the steps since they will still be the same.Β
